The church was built in\u00a0<\/span>1848<\/span>\u00a0with voluntary contributions from the Dojran believers. The chief architect was\u00a0<\/span>Gjorge Novakov<\/span>\u00a0from the\u00a0<\/span>Veles<\/span>\u00a0village of\u00a0<\/span>Papradiste<\/span>. She was supposed to serve all Dojran Christians, but instead, she became an apple of discord. After the construction, the Turkish sultan issued a decree giving it to the Greek priests, ie the Greek patriarchate. Because the Dojran believers did not understand the Greek language, they asked the sultan to give it to them for administration….<\/span><\/p>

The clock tower of Dojran was built in the 14th century. According to the legend passed down through many generations, the tower was built by Evrenos-beg, in honor of the conquest of Dojran. During the First World War, the tower was partially destroyed, and it remains in the same condition today.<\/p>

The bath is located in the upper part of Dojran, inhabited by the Turkish population, in the past. The time of construction is not known.<\/p>

St.\u00a0Mary Magdalene<\/span><\/b>\u00a0is the main monastery church in\u00a0<\/span>the Parthenius Zografski monastery complex<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0<\/span>Star Dojran<\/span>\u00a0.\u00a0<\/span>It is one of the three churches in the monastery.<\/span><\/p>
